Organised by LexisNexis, the publishers of Human Resources magazine, the Australian HR Awards have grown to reflect the increasingly important and complex role that HR plays in many modern organisations.

Now in their eighth year, the awards fill an important gap in providing an opportunity for individual HR professionals, teams and organisations to come together to recognise and celebrate HR as a profession, and to raise the standard of HR through recognition of benchmark practice.

This year’s awards include 16 categories which recognise excellence across the entire spectrum of the profession. Every year, we aim to raise the bar in terms of standards of entry for the Australian HR Awards. A rigorous selection and judging process, which was developed in conjunction with leading academics and professionals from the HR industry, underpins the Australian HR Awards.

The 2008 awards will be held on Thursday 30 October in Sydney at the Parkside Ballroom, Sydney Convention & Exhibition Centre, Darling Harbour.
