CELEBRATING EXCELLENCE IN THE HR PROFESSION

The annual Australian HR Awards has been recognised as the leading independent awards event in the HR profession. The awards showcase the leading HR teams, leaders, programs and initiatives that raised the bar over the past year.

Unfortunately, due to the current situation with COVID, we have made the decision to transfer the event to a virtual format. We appreciate the continued cooperation and understanding of all registrants and partners throughout another challenging year. If you have purchased a ticket for the planned physical event, you will be able to transfer your purchase to one of our awards packages. The awards packages available will help you share and celebrate your success, ranging from a trophy and digital medal to a comprehensive multimedia editorial campaign. Toby Brown, will be in touch with you in the coming weeks to discuss your options. If you would like to give him a call, he would love to hear from you. His details are toby.brown@keymedia.com or 02 8437 4795.

The Australian HR Awards will now take place virtually on Friday, 17 September 2021. The event will feature the virtual awards ceremony and live panel discussions with excellence awardees. Complemented by a live chat and online networking through the peer matching functionality of the virtual platform, this is an unparalleled opportunity to go behind the scenes and engage with the country’s top HR leaders. The entire HRD community and all members of the HR industry are invited. Register for free here.

The Australian HR Awards is presented by HRD, the resource of choice for the country's most forward-thinking HR professionals.

Today Extra co-host, 9Network

As one of the most versatile members of the Nine Network’s news and current affairs team, Belinda Russell can be seen presenting the weather on Sydney’s flagship news bulletin, co-hosting Today Extra and reporting for the evening bulletins. Belinda loves meeting and talking to people and turning their stories into great television. She has extensive experience presenting and producing news, current affairs and children's programs, across Australia and in the UK.

Belinda completed a degree in Communications and Journalism at the University of Southern Queensland, before joining Network Ten in Brisbane in 1999. After producing segments for Ten's long-running kids' environmental show Totally Wild Belinda joined the Ten News team as a reporter. She presented news and weather bulletins, before being asked to host Totally Footy, a new network program aimed at young AFL fans.

In 2002, Belinda joined Sky News in London as a producer and reporter, making her one of few Aussie journalists to work on camera in British television. She worked across a range of stories, and gained live location and studio experience, before specialising as an Entertainment Reporter. She was lucky enough to meet and interview some of the biggest names in show business, including Madonna, Tom Cruise, Kylie Minogue, Antonio Banderas, Elton John, Leonardo DiCaprio and Angelina Jolie.

In 2007, Belinda returned to Australia, and joined the Nine Network's A Current Affair as a reporter, based in Sydney. She covered a broad range of stories, but was happiest talking to people who had overcome tough times in their lives, or who had inspirational experiences to share.
